FLT tickets are certificates, not licences.
HSE says there is no state system for lift truck training, so there is no central record to check against. The certificate from the training provider is your evidence.

The Monday ring round for a big bench.
Industrial books are long. The ring round puts the people you use most at the top and keeps the rest from being forgotten.
Filter the list to Warehouse and ring that group first. Each card shows when the person was last checked, their week, and a call button. Tap the days as they answer, then press Done, No answer or Skip.
Nights are booked like any other shift. A 22:00 to 06:00 shift runs into the next day, so the planner blocks a day shift that starts before it finishes, and warns before a seventh day in a row.
The margin on each job is charge rate minus pay rate. It does not take off holiday pay, employer National Insurance or pension, so work out the true figure before you quote a night rate.

Questions industrial agencies ask.
Is there such a thing as a forklift licence?
Not in the way there is a driving licence. HSE says there is no state system for training lift truck operators, so no central body holds certificates. Training providers issue certificates of basic training, and the employer must make sure operators are trained and re-assessed from time to time.
Can Tempbench handle a job that needs 20 people?
Yes. A job has a headcount, and the planner shows how many are booked against how many are needed each day, such as 14 of 20. Book the week books one person on every shift day in one go, and the job turns green when it is full.
Does Tempbench do clocking in or timesheets?
No. A booking records who is on which shift, not the hours they worked. There is no clocking in, no time and attendance and no timesheet approval. If the client sends you hours, or you use a timesheet tool, payroll runs from that, not from Tempbench.
Can I search for counterbalance or reach truck drivers?
Yes. Counterbalance FLT and Reach truck are starting skills, and you can add others such as VNA or pallet truck. Search by position, skill, distance from the site postcode and the days they must be free. Find matches on a job does the same from the job itself.
