How Tempbench looks after your data.
This page lists what is true today. It does not make claims we cannot back up, so there is nothing here about certifications or where servers sit.
Every agency kept separate
Each agency has its own account, and every candidate, client, note, document and booking belongs to exactly one account. Every query the app runs is limited to the signed-in person's own agency, so one agency's records never appear in another's.
Access by role
Each person on your team has their own sign-in and a role. Owners control billing, export and deleting the agency. Admins manage settings and the team. Users do the day-to-day work. When someone leaves, deactivate them and they can no longer sign in.
Passwords and sign-in
Passwords are stored as one-way hashes, never as plain text, so nobody at Tempbench can read yours. New passwords must be at least 10 characters. Repeated failed sign-ins are limited to slow down guessing, and the app tells browsers to connect over HTTPS only.
Files and exports
Uploaded documents such as CVs and licences are only available to people signed in to that agency. Only an owner can export the whole account, and exports never include passwords.
Deleting your agency
An owner can delete the agency from Settings, Data and privacy. That removes every candidate, client, note, document and team member, then closes the account. It cannot be undone, so export first. You can also ask us to do it by email.
Reporting a problem
If you think you have found a security issue, email hello@tempbench.co.uk with the details. Please do not test against other agencies' accounts.
