Is VAT included in the price?
No. Every price on this page is shown without VAT. £12.99 a seat a month and £129.90 a seat a year both have VAT added at the standard rate on your invoice. The seat maths table above is ex VAT too, so you can compare it straight against your other software costs.
What counts as a seat?
A seat is one person on your team who signs in to Tempbench. Candidates, clients and contacts are not seats, so adding more people to your books does not change the bill. If someone leaves, deactivate them in Settings and their seat stops counting from then on.
Do I pay for people I invite?
Not until they accept. An invite sits as waiting in Settings and costs nothing. When the person accepts and signs in, they become an active user and take a seat. If you change your mind first, you can revoke the invite and nothing is charged.
Can I cancel?
Yes. A monthly plan has no contract and can be cancelled any time. The yearly plan is paid for the year up front at ten months' price. Before you go, an owner can export everything as a ZIP of CSV files, so you keep your candidates, clients and notes.
What happens when the free trial ends?
Your data is kept. The account turns read-only, so you and your team can still sign in and look things up, but you cannot add or change anything until an owner chooses a plan. Choose monthly or yearly in Settings and everything opens up again straight away.
Can I export my data?
Yes, at any time and on any plan, including during the trial. An owner can download a ZIP with one CSV spreadsheet per table: candidates, clients, notes, your team and the rest. Passwords are never included. Uploaded files such as CVs are downloaded from each record.
