Tempbench's week planner shows jobs down the side and days across, with how many people are booked against how many are needed. Click a day to book people, or book someone for the whole week. It blocks double bookings, Do not use and days off, and warns about expired documents and a seventh day in a row.

A booking sets the day to booked on their week and moves them to Booked on the job. Cancelling gives the day back.

On a phone the planner shows one day at a time with the week across the top, so you can check Thursday from the car.

Does the planner stop overnight shifts clashing?
Yes. A night shift such as 20:00 to 06:00 runs into the next morning, and the planner treats it that way. Booking that person on an early shift the following day is blocked as an overlap, the same as two shifts on the same afternoon.
Can I book someone who has said they are off?
Yes, if they have told you they can do it. People who are off that day show with a They've said yes, book anyway button. Do not use, inactive people, closed jobs and overlapping shifts cannot be booked at all.
Is there a view of each person's week?
Yes. Switch from By job to By person to see everyone with a booking this week, one row each, with every shift they are on. Search for a name to add someone to the view and see their week, even with nothing booked.
