How it works.
Set a usual week
Most temps have a pattern: weekdays only, weekends only, nights. Set it once and every new week starts from it.
Change a date, not the pattern
Off on Thursday for the dentist? Change Thursday. The usual week is untouched, so next week is right without you doing anything.
Let bookings fill it in
Book someone on the planner and the day turns booked. Cancel and it is free again.
Check it on the ring round
The ring round shows when each person was last checked, and lets you set this week and next in one go, then save it as their usual week.
Questions.
Can candidates update their own availability?
No. There is no candidate app or portal. You and your team keep availability up to date, usually on the ring round while you are on the phone. Agencies we built this for want that call anyway: it is how you hear about the Saturday someone could do.
Does a booking change someone's availability?
Yes. Booking a person on the week planner marks that day as booked on their strip. Cancelling the booking gives the day back as free. Their usual week stays as it was, so next week starts from the right pattern.
