GDPR and Tempbench.
Under UK GDPR, your agency is the controller of the candidate and client data you keep in Tempbench, and Tempbench is the processor. We handle that data only to run the service for you, and a data processing agreement sets that out.
Who is responsible for what
You decide what personal data to collect about candidates, clients and contacts, why, and how long to keep it. That makes your agency the controller. Tempbench stores and processes the data on your instructions so the app works. That makes Tempbench the processor.
The data processing agreement
The data processing agreement covers what Tempbench does with your data, keeping it confidential and secure, helping you with requests from individuals, and deleting it when you leave. For questions about the people and services that help us run Tempbench, email us.
Requests from candidates
If a candidate asks to see, correct or delete what you hold about them, you can do it in the app: open their record to see everything on it, edit it, or delete the record. For a copy of everything in one go, an owner can export the account as CSV files.
Keeping data tidy
Data checks shows records that are incomplete, duplicated or missing details. Parking people as inactive keeps them out of the way, but they are still on file; delete them if you no longer have a reason to keep them.
When you leave
Export what you need, then an owner can delete the agency from Settings, Data and privacy. Everything for that agency is removed and the account is closed.
